The Legend of Skrunkly Cat

After many retellings of the same tale, tediously repetitive introductions, and desperate searches for files regarding old projects during research-position applications, it became clear a more organized and efficient method of information delivery was necessary - thus, this site was born. However, during the 15 minute crash course in DNS records, nameservers, IPs, web hosting, and SSLs, I recognized the need for an incomplex test site to launch prior to website production. I flew to the search bar and hastily typed "pretty kitty", and my eyes scanned the photos in search of something arbitrarily unique - and then I saw, for the first time, pure undiluted joy in photonic form destroying my retina with its beauty. The only words I could utter to describe such idiosyncratic magnificence shortly escaped my mouth: "it's so skrunkly." The launch was successful, and at 20:35 UTC-6, January 26th, 2024, the site was launched with simply a photo and a text body, as shown above, and Skrunkly Cat brought smiles and laughter to the first viewers of what truly is, Skrunkly Cat's website.
